little book from cd parts

this lesson is about making a little book or more like a greetings card iff you make one page in the front and back are from cd parts.

materials:
two 1/4 parts of a cd.
angelwire paper or you can cover the cd parts with polymerclay.
photoglue-rubbercement from collall.
ribbon.
one cd for the shape of the cardboard page.
1 a4 piece of cardboard every color you like.
stamps.
blopens.
little poem printed out of your computer.
little push outs from yourv craft punch.
other stuff to decorate your little book with for the out sides.

begin with the cd parts,aslan and the angelwire paper.

take the angelwire paper and one cd part .
lay down the cd part on the angelwire paper.

cut off the angelwirepaper , keep the paper 1 cm bigger than the cd part.

now you push the aslan on the cd parts like this.

peel off the other paper on the aslan .

lay your cd part down on the angelwire paper with the aslan{sticky site} site up.

now you push the angelwirepaper around the edges of the cd part and push it down on the aslan.{ sticky site}

you do the same with the other cd part.

now you have two beautiful covered cd parts.

take the a4 cardboard piece and put your whole cd on it for the shape.

draw the shape of the cd on the paper with a pencil.

cut out the cd shape, you can do this also with a fantasy sissor.

here you can see the lines where you must fold your paper .

when you fold the lines do this first so it goes beter.

we take two diffrent colors of blopens.

blow the first color on your paper, do this on both sides.

blow now the second color on your paper, do this too on both sides.

cut a little round hole in the middle of your paper.

now you can decorate your paper with some stamped images.

you can also glue some puch out figurines on your paper and you can right down some text with gel pens.

print out a little poem on your computer and give it some decoration with the blowpens around it.

cut out the poem with a fantasy sissor and glue it on your paper.
you can give the paper some accents with some glitter.

take the ribbon and lay it down on the cd parts like the picture.
now you can glue them on the cd parts.

you can also use tape to tape the ribbon on the cd parts, it,s what you like best.

now you glue the paper on the cd parts with the photo-cement glue, this is a great glue to work with on paper.

fold the cd book together, now you can decorate the back of the book with all kinds of decorations.

on the front of the book i have made little butterfly,s and flowers with fake rhine stones on it , i glue it all with the photo-cement glue.

this is the inside of the book , you can also make more pages in the book.
